This research designed “SFC GO Around,”a novel Rogaining gameplay leveraging wearable devices and geographic-based team collaboration for orienteering competitions. By adopting a gamification approach, we established several virtual locations across the campus where participants, divided into two teams, compete against each other. This setup not only facilitates a deeper understanding of the campus geography but also fosters familiarity among classmates as they navigate through the game. The system proves to be a potent tool in helping individuals quickly acquaint themselves with new areas and build rapport with fellow students and colleagues during events. Implemented during physical education classes, “SFC GO Around” enhances the participant experience through competitive team games, encouraging players to not merely communicate but to genuinely recognize and understand each other, thereby nurturing deeper connections among team members.
